So there's this song that my friend likes that she asked me to illustrate- this is what happened!
The "seed" can be an egg, a brain, dirt, or whatever you want it to be. My idea was just to show the "sepia" real-world doldrum of coffee black and egg white "folded and unfolding and unfolded" into colorrrrrrrrzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz....
The seed/egg/brain thing is copic traced with sepia pen and the rest is watercolor.
