Description
This is another assignment for school! I had to design three characters- racers, specifically- and their vehicles and each one was to be based on a simple shape; one a triangle, one a rectangle, and one a circle or oval. This is Renaldo Gerald and his Pill Bug, and they are very much circular! Renaldo also has different pompadours (it is a wig) that he wears for different outfits and occasions.
The nature of the race was also for us to create, and so the Dervish Derby, the boxcar race of the future, was born! You can race anything so long as the car is something you made yourself!

I just looked at all of these, and I think this one's my favorite, particularly because while he's so round in the middle, his shape is very organic and flows well. His car is also an interesting design and I get a laugh out of imagining him with his giant gut trying to get into it haha.
